Visuals are key to content clicks – Visuals are becoming more and more critical for sharing and getting the valuable click-throughs you are looking for. Even Twitter is becoming more image heavy today. Invest in a membership to a stock photo site for sharing or keep your camera with you at all times.

Sales can be a byproduct of your strategy – Once your followers get to know you, sales can become a part of your social media plan. It will never be the main focus so don’t expect that even if you are well established.

Make sure your website is the final destination for your marketing – Tracking is easy when your final destination is your website. Knowing what engages them and what is important will show on the clicks to your site. Plus offering valuable outgoing content to share is key too.

Video gets the most engagement – Even quickie 15 second Vines or Instagram videos are a fun way to engage your followers. Have a YouTube channel? You can imbed those videos in any other social media site and on your website too. Folks love them!

Mix it up – Don’t bore your followers with the same old stuff. Mix up your content, share others content and have fun on your social media for great engagement and growth.
