We’re still in first quarter of the year and there are many things you can improve upon and add to your business to help transform and improve the growth this year.

If you are a business planner and need help with the follow through (we all have that issue some days), there are some small business tools that you may want to institute for time management along with successful tools and apps out there to help you focus and get to work.

Check out these seven tips to help you change your business this year.

Small Business Tips to Help Transform Your Business

Automate repetitive tasks - One of the big time suckers is being online or tasks that we have to do multiple times a day or week. Find tools that can help you automate some of these tasks. Social media tools, email tools, even accounting and payroll tasks can be easier given the right tools.

Use time blocks - For the most effective use of time and to get the most productivity out of your tasks, focus on one thing at a time until completion. Whether you use 15 minute block or 30-60 minute blocks, you will get more done in a crunch situation.

Outsource the minutia - If there is something you’re not good at or something that is overwhelming or not profitable for you to spend your valuable time doing it, then outsource it.  Spend the time doing moneymaking tasks.

Blend online and off-line marketing - Continue to expand and develop your online marketing. Point off-line marketing to your online resources and continue to grow this avenue.  Email marketing is strong. Don’t work without it.

Find your target market on social media – Learn which site works best for your niche.  Focus on developing your page completely with custom content and info that interests them and offers value (builds trust). Then perhaps add one other social site.  Engage and talk to your followers for the best results.

Network network network - Don’t give up if this is not working for you yet. Find new avenues to continue to build the strategy. People recommend and buy from people they know and like first, especially in a small town or a small niche.

Continue to build your knowledge with Events and Seminars -Online or off-line, learning from those who have been there and done that is inspiring. Plus, meeting others in the same business can really help you improve your own business.  And it is a great place to network, find mentors, and learn more growth strategies.

These seven tips will help you improve, change and transform your small business, if you want to do the work. Focus your business and you will see a difference.
