Learn to create simple graphics and use clear pictures in all of your marketing materials. Visuals are critical for successful profiles. 

Make sure to interact with those that follow you. Respond to comments. Go to their pages; comment, share, and engage. 

Don't be one that will follow someone and then unfollow as soon as they return the favor. Follow those people you truly want to engage with and learn from. 

Let them see you and who you are. Include your personality when posting and have fun. People follow people and businesses that show their true colors. 

Make sure you are posting quality content. Quantity, although you need to be posting on a regular basis, is not as important as what you're saying. Offer value because that's what your customer is looking for.
