We are halfway through 2017 and you have probably noticed that marketing is becoming more and more visual. With the addition of live broadcasting through various social media accounts, it’s even more important to be active and on target with our content for our marketing efforts.

Here are some tips that you can use to make sure you're producing what's needed for your business and your customer as an up and coming successful entrepreneur.

5 Crucial Content Marketing Tips for the Entrepreneur

1. Make sure you lead with value - Whether you are writing a blog post or sharing a graphic on social media, offer a thought provoking message that inspires comment or shares.

2. Use images and content that will be personal and relatable to your followers - You want your customers and followers to relate to your business and have it be an experience to be a part of your organization, either through social media, purchasing, blog posts, website visits, etc.

3. Make sure you have the same message throughout all of your accounts and websites - This is critical for your branding and for your customers experience.

4. Be consistent with your posting - This goes for blog content as well as social media. If you're writing blog posts, you don't have to do one every day. But you do need to be consistent. On social media, you need to be posting several times a day since the feeds change regularly. By posting at different times you will be able to reach more of your followers.

5. Have your target market extremely specific so that you are speaking directly to them in all of your online actions - Take the time to craft your images and copy to speak to that specific market. Also include a call to action. What do you want them to do with the information?

It can be difficult to wade through all of the techniques and tactics needed for marketing on the Internet today. Trust your entrepreneurial spirit and understand that it may not be an overnight success. Focus on the long-term results, track and tweak your processes along the way, and continue to focus on bringing value to your perfect customer.
