5 Apps for Small Business Owners on the Go

As a small business owner today there are so many different jobs that we have to do by ourselves. This is especially true if you're a one-man team.

With that being the case, the good news is that there are plenty of apps that you can use on your smart phones & tablets that will help you manage your business on the fly.

5 Apps for Small Business Owners on the Go

Google apps - Google has a whole collection of different apps that work perfectly across multiple devices and even with team members. Google Docs, which is similar to Word, Excel, and Powerpoint combined. Google Chrome is the browser that allows you to save all of your favorites so you can access them no matter what device you're using. Google Drive for backing up docs and images. Google + for your social media connection and more.

Evernote - This is a cool tool to use for reminders and to collect notes or ideas on the fly. It can also sync across all your devices which comes in handy if you are like me and use multiple devices!

HootSuite - A must have for social media management, in my opinion. It is a dashboard where you can schedule and manage your social media profiles all in one spot. It also offers reports to help you measure the effectiveness and fuel social media engagement. It also allows you to integrate with Google Analytics as well.

Paypal Here - Getting paid on the go and not having to worry about billing later on is easy by using an app like Paypal. This one allows you to use your phone or a tablet as a cash register. You can run debit or credit cards through them, take payments, track sales, send invoices, and just make it simpler altogether for your customer to pay.

MailChimp - Emailing your customers and building your client list on a regular basis just got easier by allowing you to design and send your newsletters anytime through your phone. Especially handy when you are out and about working with customers. You can add them directly to your email newsletter, with their permission. It offers multiple features where you can build reports and use it with Google Analytics too.

These are just five tools that are available but they make it so easy to work your business anywhere anytime. Even when you have some down time in between appointments you can be working completely through apps.  This is just the start and 5 of my favorites. There are so many more that are available and developing every day.

Which ones do you use the most?
